Embark on a melodious journey with Renata and Gediminas, whose passion for music and delectable treats has harmonised into a symphony of flavours! Since 1992, these two maestros have shared a musical bond, both trained as choral conductors.
Renata, a music teacher, found a sweet side to life, delving into the world of cakes and patisserie. On the other hand, Gediminas continued his musical odyssey, becoming an opera sensation with performances in iconic venues like the Barbican Theater in London, Lincoln Center in New York, and more. His accolades include receiving Freedom from the city of Radviliškis for promoting Lithuanian culture globally. In 2008, their paths converged as Lithuanian and British national anthems resonated at the London Lithuanian embassy’s 90-year Jubilee celebration, graced by luminaries like Margaret Thatcher and Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus. Renata’s passion transformed into 40cakes, a patisserie born in 2019, just before the whirlwind of COVID-19. Trained by renowned Chocolate master Mark Tilleng and Ukrainian maestro Ludmila Kazmechuk, an Honorary Member of the Juri world championship Mondial des Arts Sucrés, Renata crafts exquisite treats guided by Ludmila’s expertise.
